I dunno if ur wanting a weave for length or thickness, but you gotta check out the clip in hair they sell at Sally Beauty Supply. You just clip the pieces in and go! And when u come home u can just take them out!!

Yes. I have personally tried do shop around. I got ripped off never done it before and after paying 250, I looked like Joe Dirt had to pay another 200-250 to put tracks on top. It was braided in. It looked WEIRD!!! Not so bad at first but after a week...yeah. You can't wash it right, even though you need to. Maybe cause everyones hair is different, idk. And when I finally took it out, it smelt weird, I was so happy when it was out. I like wigs. You can find good one. I was thinking about trying the cretine one they have now. it's where glue it to each indivual hair, idk just what I was told.

I am white. I'm 30 years old. I have been doing weave since I was 16. I found glue and sewing to be time consuming and a pain in the ass. If your hair is atleast shoulder length and you prefer sewn in...it is easier to make one skinny braid across the crown and sew about 2 to 3 tracks to it. The amount of tracks depends on if you are looking for more lenght or volume. I refuse to pay 150 $ or more on those wack clip in extensions. Paris Hilton has the nerve to sell hers at sallys for over 100 $ and they are synthetic hair. I just make my own. I form them to fit my own head. My hair is a little below shoulders. I first take a track and measure it around my head all the from the bottom way to the top where I would part my hair, leaving about a 2 inch gap between my part. I then sew invisible thread to hold it together. You basically place it on your head like a crown and comb your real hair over it and blend it in. Then for the second piece you sew weave clips on each end and clip them from ear to ear going across the crown/back of head attaching them to the first piece. They are in GOOD and never come out. You can remove them at night when you go to bed so they last longer. It's hard to explain how to do it. If I showed you a pic you would see exactly what I mean. It litterally takes me less than 15 min to make these. If you want to inbox me I'll send pics of mine. You can make them yourself. They are super EASY to make. the hair costs between 50 and 100 bucks and all you need is thread. I've done this method for friends of mine who usually do glue or sew and they like them so much this is the only way they do it now.

Ok so u want a weave for what reason? I have fine hair and used to get weaves. Go to the hair store on Northgate and ask the black girl that works there where to go. If u want hair u can wash its gonna cost alot! Never get your weave bonded! Thats when they glue the tracks in. the ends always come up and u have to carry glue around in your bag. So go to a girl that will braid your real hair in a circle then the lady will sew the tracks in. Its been a long time for me but after the lady braids your hair in that circle they put this like net over your real hair that is braided under it. Now we all want are weaves to look real right so don't be cheap when u buy hair. I used to buy curly hair because my hair is fine and flat. I went cheap one time with the hair and it was every where. it got nappy and i had to take it out. Also a tip for the itching use this gel that has sulfer 8 in it. It helps with the itching. always pat your head when it itches. Also don't have your hair braided to tight or it will fuck up your hair and also cause u to have bumps from the hair being pulled to tight. I hope I helped u out.

I've been wearing weaves on and off since 08. I have had sew ins and I just do my own quick weaves. But if you really wana treat yourself I suggest Cinderella Extensions. Google it. They can be pricey but worth the money and last months longer then a sew in and WAY better for your type of hair.

Good luck.
