If I say it directly in the start of conversation which I prefer the most, then they will get pissed and flag my ad...

I know there is a fine line I could walk through without causing too much unnecessary attention to my ad and phone communication, and am trying to figure it out...

I feel we might as well use that section it is free, that means we can even get flagged 10 times a day, and don't have to pay the usual $45 it would cost for 10 flagged ads in a day with the erotic services and it is less monitored for now anyway...

I have always liked CL, cause it is extremely easy and quick to getting clients and having fun...

I'm not convinced the Adult section is gone forever, there are such things as freedom of speech, and if you look in the feed back section of CL discussion, there are probably about 10 pissed people pissed off that it's gone and that Craig caved into the moralists who want to control our freedom, to every one person thanking CL for taking it down. In the long run I think public opinion doesn't support it being gone.

So we'll see if it's gone forever, I think there are some places you can write and let your opinion be known. A lot of people don't want there internet to be censored.

Cause a pissed of caller is a flag, anyway that's how I tend to see it...

I don't like backpage, cause when I had my ad on eros, they were running my ad on their sites, with out asking my permission, I though that was crazy...

I live in frisco/bay area so the backpage is not as active as far as I know...

Moving & retiring to MA. 12/24

Even though so far the people I have made connection through there have been really sweet and just looking to have fun for free...

Well Bondie, that statment on the ad might look under the radar to CL itself, BUT not to the trolls who go through all the ads trying to find somebody that they could take advantage off...

The problem is really with the people who are reading the ads, some clients will try to make it difficult for any girls and just flag it for whatever reason that their sick and twisted mind might be at, and also shady girls can flag it too so there are less competition...

If the ad does stay long enough to get emails and calls, then you have to explain that it is for working and weed out the one who are looking for free fun...

Just too much fucking work to do, to me anyway...

So a not so long time ago in a place call CLORG there were lovely ladies wanting to offer special treats for roses. Well there really wasn't a category so some of these posts ended up in Casual Encounters. Or any of these places below.

Some even were either 'experimenting' and posted in Cars for sale,and other really unrelated areas and of course Therapeutic Services.

This invoked the community based flagging war and complaints. Many ads were only up for minutes, some who were subtle remained up much longer.

The overall result was termed "Whack-a-Mole". Equated to the game where these little fuzzy headed critters pop up at random and the player has to whack them to earn points.

So if history repeats, we will (and have already) seen ads that used to belong to Erotic/Adult Services pop up all over CLORG.

So many people complained that kids trying to buy and iPod shouldn't be exposed to some T&A that a proper category was created just for the Providers. (Interesting note - only the US lost the category).

Now they've removed that "home" and some providers will begin posting everywhere and anywhere on CLORG. Who knows eventually (maybe even soon) CLORG will need to restructure.

I am not saying we should do this, but it is a possible revolt strategy and it's already happening if you look. Fact is this "Censorship" maybe election year politics at it's worse but it doesn't change supply and demand.

Wonder how long it will take before CLORG is virtually drowning in posts that are flag magnets? This will lead to some change. I don't have a crystal ball, but I sense that some section will be generated to stop all the complaints.

All this over some lonely people making arrangements to have needs meet. So much ado about nothing!

I wait for my ad to appear and there is no chance of it...

I check the link I got via email and it shows that my ad is active and available...

It's not because I made any mistakes, even though I am not a computer wiz, I know how to post ads...

I think they might have blocked me, cause they might be lead to believe I am a working girl somehow or someway...

The strange part of it is that instead of letting me know that my ad is flagged or deleted by administrative, it just shows as it might be running...

I know for sure it is not running cause I didn't get any email for people wanting to date me...

I don't like to blow my own horn, normally at least I get few clients who are interested in making connection...

This is not the first time this has happen to me, becareful ladies...

I've heard if you write to abuse@cl.org and apologize and say you are doing your very best to follow the rules they may unblock you. How soon I do not know.

back in the old days I was ghosted when flagged too many times. I think others in my category saw me as a threat and collectively flagged my ads off. Petty, and made me think they had no work if since they had time to sit around and flag. LOL The more recent system was free of flags, one small improvement.

*!*!*! PS CL is privately held, meaning they don't have to please anyone, not the public, users and there are no public investors other than Ebay and I am sure they don't want AS or ES. CL has maybe 15-20 paid employees and everyone on help is just a volunteer and some are REAL JERK. Expect to be called a ho and the like if you go to the help board for support. It's just teh way CL does their thing.

As far is AS/ES coming back. A statement made on Capitol Hill said CL was committed to keeping the listings off the website. Of course the Conservatives have now demanded CL remove Adult listings from the remaining 150 cities where they still appear.
